Striders Spotlight: The McGinness Three

Today we have a special family edition of striders spotlight with the McGinness ladies. Rose joined striders in 2011 and subsequently convinced her daughters, Katie and Leanne to join a few years later. Rose is currently is one of the clubs welfare officers and Mental Heath champion as well being a run leader.

Striders Spotlight: Helen Cartlidge

In today's spotlight we have Helen Cartlidge. Helen joined Striders in 2005. Helen was the 2015 most improved female athlete and is often found at towards the top of race results winning medals.

Striders Spotlight: Steve Buckle

In this weekends spotlight we have Steve Buckle. Steve joined striders in 2004 and is currently the clubs deputy chairman as well as being one of the lead coaches. You will mainly see him leading the tuesday night track sessions. Steve has been male athlete of the year four times, initially in 2005 and most recently in 2019. Steve also won the age graded club champs in 2017.

Striders Spotlight: Caroline Bailes

Today in the spotlight is Caroline Bailes. Caroline joined Striders in 2002 and is a run leader and leader of the Orange Race with striders group. Caroline is also the clubs Herts county rep.

Striders Spotlight: Richard Evans

Next up in the spotlight is Rich Evans. Rich joined Striders in 2016 and for the last couple of years has been the men's cross country captain. Last year Rich was the most improved male athlete and joint winner of the club champs.
