Striders Spotlight: Katie Bunting

Today's Strider in the spotlight is Katie Bunting. Katie joined Striders in 2015 and has done a fantastic job as women's cross country captain for the last couple of years. Katie is also one of the clubs run leaders.

Striders Spotlight: Joanne Tang

Next up in the Striders Spotlight is Joanne Tang. Joanne first joined Striders late in 2004 to assist her with training for the 2005 London Marathon. A couple of years off, getting married, having children, Joanne re-joined in approximately 2011. Joanne is the Club’s kit person, a run leader and organises the rotas for the Thursday runs alongside Andy Auld.

Striders Spotlight: The Hobson's

Today we have our second 'Mr and Mrs' edition of Striders Spotlight with the Hobson's. Claire joined Striders in 2012 followed the following year by Doug. They celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary two weeks ago. 🍻

Striders Spotlight: Adam Webster

The next Strider in the spotlight is 'The Beast'. No not the one from The Chase quiz show, Adam Webster. Adam joined Striders in 2017 and has recently been helping the club as a run leader.

Striders Spotlight: Ali Hills

In today's spotlight we get to know a bit more about Ali Hills. Ali joined Striders in 2018 and has since caught the running bug.

Striders Spotlight: The Maginley's

Today we have a special 'Mr & Mrs' edition with Jenny and Errol Maginley. Jenny and Errol joined striders in 2012. Love blossomed and they eventually got married last year. For the last couple of years they have been the clubs road captains. Jenny was also previously the club secretary and was last years female athlete of the year.

Striders Spotlight : Jordan Lister

Next in the Striders Spotlight is Jordan Lister. Jordan joined Striders in May 2016 and has been a member of the publicity team for the last couple of years.

Striders Spotlight : Allie Park-Crowne

Next in the Spotlight is Allie Park-Crowne. Allie is on a mission to get marathon fit for Brighton marathon which hopefully will take place later in the year.

Striders Spotlight : Emma Hosty

Today's Strider in the spotlight is Emma Hosty. Emma joined Striders in 2016 and recently completed her run leader course with the club. 

Striders Spotlight: Denise Tinant

Today's Strider in the Spotlight is Denise Tinant. Denise joined the club in 2014 and is currently the club membership secretary as well being a run leader.

Striders Spotlight: Bernadette Newby

Next up in the Striders Spotlight is Bernadette Newby. Bernadette has been a Strider since 2015. She has been one of the race directors for the Stampede for the past couple of years, one of the clubs run leaders and is also the clubs sustainability rep. Bernadette was also the very proud winner of the 2019 Strider of the year.

Striders Spotlight: Hannah Clark

Next up in the Striders Spotlight is Hannah Clark. Hannah has been a Strider since 2016 and has recently been in training for the Race to the King ultra marathon.

Next in the Striders Spotlight is Martin Medforth. Martin is a Striders regular who joined in 2014 and shows us that age need not be a barrier to enjoy your running.
